Driehaus Capital Management, Inc. provides investment management services to institutional clients, high net worth individuals, and mutual fund investors. They specialize in domestic and international investing, using an aggressive growth style, with the objective of capital appreciation. Driehaus manages over $6 billion in assets spread between institutional portfolios and mutual funds.

Driehaus started out as a very successful “boutique” asset management company. Over the years their success has been so great that they now have to deal with the growing pains of changing their boutique company into a small business. To this end, Driehaus’ core IT systems needed to be reengineered as they have been built using highly outdated technology (Gupta was their relational database management system). Elizabeth Rosenberg, Driehaus’ IT Director, and David Marco, EWSolutions President, worked together to convince Driehaus’ founder Richard Driehaus of the need to reengineer their systems. This project was highly successful in its first phase and has successfully completed the second phase of this project effort.
