Job Requirements

EWSolutions is looking to expand our sales and business development team. We are seeking dynamic sales development professionals with experience selling IT business solutions and services. Extra consideration will be given to candidates who possess experience in business intelligence, metadata management, enterprise architecture and data warehousing solution sales to Fortune 500 clients.

The positions require team members who will play key roles in navigating and prospecting among key decisions makers to identify and prioritize new business opportunities for the firm. The right candidates will need to demonstrate ability engaging and managing prospects, and customers, throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

Listening skills are essential to the role as is attention to detail and creative thinking. In addition, the successful candidate may be involved in developing and presenting technical and business presentations, proposals and RFI/RFP responses.

Responsibilities

  1. Respondent must be local to Chicago area. Washington, DC will also be considered
  2. Strong communication and client interaction skills with all levels across the enterprise
  3. Setting and managing realistic customer expectations during the sales process
  4. Exceptional thoroughness, attention to detail, and follow-through
  5. Must possess knowledge and skills to develop and implement the technical infrastructure to support long-term data strategy and lead/perform the evaluation of existing internal tools that support Data Quality, perform gap analysis, and make recommendations that utilize data cleansing techniques
  6. Strong ability creating presentations and proposals that reflect the needs of the client
  7. Ability to travel to the client site as needed
  8. Experience in coordinating responses to RFIs and RFPs
  9. Experience with ETL, metadata management and business intelligence tools is a significant plus
  10. Ability to "think big" and grasp the overall picture

Requirements

  1. A minimum of five years experience selling IT consulting services for a solutions driven organization
  2. Proven success in achieving annual sales of greater than $2 million dollars
  3. Demonstrated understanding of or past experience selling solutions focused around business intelligence, data warehousing, enterprise architecture and metadata management is strongly preferred
  4. This position requires full-time travel; however, we do attempt to staff consultants to a local client where available and applicable
  5. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  6. Strongly self-motivated individual
  7. Entrepreneurial skills and mindset
  8. Strong interpersonal skills
  9. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  10. Commitment to high standards and personal responsibility

Miscellaneous Information

  1. EWSolutions has an extensive interviewing process that includes workshop testing
  2. Background checks and drug screening are performed
  3. Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa
  4. This position requires part-time travel
