Mr. Marco is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of data warehousing, enterprise architecture and business intelligence, and is the world’s foremost authority on meta data management. He is the author of the widely acclaimed, top-selling books “Universal Meta Data Models” (John Wiley & Sons, April 2004) and “Building and Managing the Meta Data Repository” (John Wiley & Sons). These groundbreaking books have been broadly endorsed by many of the largest software companies in the industry and by several major magazines. In addition, he is a coauthor of “Impossible Data Warehouse Situations and Solutions From The Experts” (Addison-Wesley) and “Data Resource Management” (DAMA). Mr. Marco has published hundreds of articles, is a regular columnist for several technology magazines, is the chairman of the Enterprise Information Management Institute (EIMInstitute.ORG) and has served as a judge in dozens of industry awards. In addition, in 2004 Mr. Marco was selected to the very prestigious Crain’s Chicago Business “Top 40 Under 40” and in 2007 he was named one of DePaul University’s “Top 14 Alumni Under 40”. In 2008 he was named to the DAMA Data Management Hall of Fame (Professional Achievement Award).
Mr. Marco has been referred to as the “Melvil Dewey of Metadata” and is a highly sought after speaker and has presented hundreds of keynote addresses and courses at the major business, data warehousing, and meta data conferences throughout the world. Mr. Marco has taught at the University of Chicago and DePaul University, and is on the Advisory Council for DePaul University’s College of Commerce.

Michael Jennings is a recognized industry expert in enterprise information management and has more than twenty years of information technology experience. Mike has published numerous industry columns/articles for EIM Institute, DM Review and Intelligent Enterprise magazines. He has been a judge for the 2002 - 2007 DM Review World-Class Solutions Awards and 2003 Wilshire Award for Best Practices in Meta Data Management.
Mike speaks frequently on EIM issues at major industry conferences and has been an instructor of information technology at the University of Chicago's Graham School. Anne Marie Smith is a leading consultant in Information Management and is a frequent contributor to various IS publications. Anne Marie has over 20 years experience in information management for several corporate entities and has successfully led the development of data resource management departments within corporations and consulting organizations. Anne Marie is active in the Data Management Association (DAMA) and serves on the board of directors of DAMA International. She has been an instructor of Management Information Systems (MIS) with Philadelphia, PA area colleges and universities and currently serves as a faculty mentor in Management Information Systems with Northcentral University.
Anne Marie has taught topics such as: data stewardship and governance, data warehousing, business requirements gathering and analysis, meta data management and meta data strategy, enterprise data modeling, information systems and data warehouse project management.

Mark Mosley, Principal Consultant with EWSolutions, is a leading expert in Information Management. Mark has over 25 years experience in data modeling, meta data management, data warehousing, information architecture and IT organizational change management. Mark has served as enterprise data architect and director of data resource management for multiple corporations, where he coordinated several successful data governance and stewardship programs, along with implementing data warehouses, operational data stores, meta data management solutions and data modeling standards. During 13 years at IBM, Mark led the development of IBM’s AD Effectiveness Consulting Methodology and trained consultants worldwide in these change management techniques.
Mark was the first person to obtain the new Certified Data Management Professional designation through DAMA International and ICCP. An active member of the DAMA Chicago chapter, Mark serves as chief editor for the Data Management Body of Knowledge Guide (DMBOK), currently under development for the DAMA Foundation.
