Marco Masters Series Adds Next Generation Data Warehouse Architecture Course to 2009 Seminar Offerings

Chicago, IL(1/4/09) – EWSolutions proudly announces the addition of “Data Warehouse Architecture for Analytics, Real-Time, Structured and Unstructured Application” to its course schedule for the 2009 annual Marco Masters Series to be held May 18 – May 20, 2009 at the Double Tree Hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois. .  This leading-edge course will be presented by Pete Stiglich, EWSolutions Principal Consultant and Trainer.  Pete brings nearly 25 years of practical IT experience to the classroom, ensuring that all attendees learn how to successfully put the course teachings into real-life practice in their organizations.

The Marco Masters Series, now in its 8th year, features four 3-day certified courses in Meta Data and Enterprise Information Management topics, including the widely popular "Managed Meta Data Environment:  Full Life-Cycle Guide” presented by internationally recognized enterprise information management, data warehousing and business intelligence expert, David Marco, and  the ever practical “Enterprise Data Stewardship & Governance: Full Life-Cycle Roadmap” presented by Anne Marie Smith, Ph.D. and EWSolutions' Principal Consultant and Director of Education.  The Marco Masters Series affords attendees a unique opportunity to learn from and network directly with top professionals in the field.

“I’ve been very happy with what I have learned from the Marco Masters Series course on Data Governance.  There have been many changes on my project, with folks coming and going and leadership swooping in and out, but the DA Charter I developed in my class is still relevant.  Some of the artifacts we identified earlier that went out of fashion have even come back into vogue.  It’s been quite a ride and the Marco Masters class was the catalyst for that,” explains John Schley, Senior Data Architect at Principal Group.

Real-world case studies are used in each course to demonstrate the importance of the course's methodology and applicability to each attendee's organization.  The Marco Masters Series leverages the lessons learned from companies that have successfully deployed managed meta data environments and enterprise information management systems to achieve significant ROI from these critical IT initiatives
