Description
This course is an intensive program designed to teach the concepts of enterprise data management and its components to new practitioners and their managers. The purpose of this course is to take attendees with little to no background in data management to a functional understanding of the components of an enterprise data/information management program and, through both lectures and workshops, enable them to perform as fully functional junior data management professionals under trained leadership.
This course is presented in a straightforward, non-technical manner. It assumes that attendees have little or no prior knowledge of data management concepts or implementations. This overview is founded on the practical experiences of real-world implementations of EIM programs and projects, and it provides the critical prerequisites for successful, profitable, and extendable enterprise information management implementations.
Hands-on workshops throughout the program will reinforce the learning experience and provide the attendees with concrete results that can be used in their organizations.
