Christopher J. Michael is an Information Governance professional with over ten years of experience in creating/assessing/improving compliant, efficient, and effective Records Management, Information Governance, and Archive programs with a focus on the Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals industry. Chris has worked on a variety of digital archiving, digital preservation, records management, and information governance engagements as both a consultant and in-house. Chris has been at GSK since 2018 and is currently a Senior Business Partner in Records Management & Archiving. He is an active ARMA member and was on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania (formerly Philadelphia) chapter from 2014-2024. Chris is currently a co-lead for the Digital Archivists of Philadelphia (DAP) since 2023. Chris earned his MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) degree with a concentration in Archival Studies from Drexel University in 2013 and his BA from Ursinus College in 2011.
